Organic India’s reach is fast expanding beyond organic tea, herbs, and supplements to include organic basics, commodities, and food items.

“Up to this point, Organic India has focused on herbal infusions and health supplements. But now we’ll get into a couple of additional topics. “We are entering the consumer kitchen,” said Subrata, Group Managing Director (MD), Organic India, “which is exciting for the firm to establish a far-reaching influence on the customer.”

Organic India, which began selling Holy Basil (tulsi) infusions in the 1990s, was the first company to promote the idea of putting the complete herb in a capsule, a concept that is now gaining traction throughout the world.

Getting Started with Organic Staples

Organic India’s group MD, Dutta, said the company is moving into organic commodities and food goods because it believes it has a competitive advantage.
